Chester spent 9 years in a shelter, arriving at just 4 months old. With no socialization and a bite history, his future looked grim. As a volunteer, I promised him he wouldn’t spend his life there. With support from Chester’s Place and the Franklin Angus Fund, he entered a 4-week decompression and training program before joining our sanctuary.

Now a senior dog, Chester continues to blossom quirky, loving, and full of spirit. He enjoys daily walks, enrichment activities, and care for severe osteoarthritis in his elbows, which requires monthly injections, daily medications, and ongoing behavioral support.
