Mango was rescued from the euthanasia list at NYC ACC after suffering serious injuries. Once safe at the sanctuary, he formed an unbreakable bond with Pelusa, one of two rescued kittens. Their connection is so deep that they are never apart.

Because they cannot be separated, Mango and Pelusa have made the sanctuary their forever home. Both require ongoing veterinary care every six months, along with daily nourishment to keep them thriving.
